Spread over an expanse of almost 13 acres and in close proximity to the National Highway, Dr. Khubchand Baghel Govt. P.G.College Bhilai-3 have an enviable location. It is situated almost halfway between the district headquarters and the Hemchand Yadav Vishwavidyalaya, Durg, to which it is affiliated. Established on 15th August 1983, in the modest campus of the Municipal School at Bhilai-3, it was soon to possess a building of its own. The Foundation stone of this new building was laid jointly by the then Chief Minister of M.P., Shri Arjun Singh and the Education Minister Shri Motilal Vora on 16 Feb. 1984. The building was inaugurated by Shri Motilal Vora the Chief Minister of M.P. on 23 October 1985.
